Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Tikroo's event ticketing platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Use of Services
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tikroo. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to make purchases.
Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Ticket Purchases
Purchase Process
- All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated by the event organiser
- Prices are set by event organisers and may include service fees
- Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase
- E-tickets are delivered via email and accessible through your account
Refunds and Cancellations
Refund policies are determined by individual event organisers. If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, the organiser's refund policy will apply. Tikroo facilitates refunds but is not responsible for organiser refund decisions.
Event Organiser Terms
Organiser Responsibilities
- Provide accurate event information and ticket inventory
- Honor all tickets sold through the platform
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Handle customer service issues related to your events
- Clearly communicate refund and cancellation policies
Fees and Payouts
Tikroo charges service fees for ticket sales. Payout schedules and terms are outlined in the organiser agreement. Organisers are responsible for all taxes related to their ticket sales.
Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Use the platform for any illegal purpose
- Resell tickets at inflated prices (scalping)
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
- Attempt to circumvent security measures
- Use automated systems to purchase tickets (bots)
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Intellectual Property
All content on Tikroo, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by Tikroo or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute our content without permission.
Limitation of Liability
Tikroo provides the platform "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for event cancellations, changes, or quality. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for tickets. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Sri Lankan law. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.
